Back on Track’s joint and muscle support products are all made of functional textiles with reflective properties. The Welltex technology is infused into the fibers of the products, which uses body energy to create a far infrared thermal effect.
The production takes place in Back on Track's own factories and each time a new batch is manufactured, an independent university laboratory measures the level of reflected energy and its wavelength. In this way, they can ensure consistency in quality and efficiency.

What is Welltex?
Welltex® is Back on Track's first and most well-known technology, a synergy between ancient Chinese experience and modern scientific textile technology.
Welltex® contains a unique blend of natural minerals that are crushed into a fine powder and then, with the help of modern technology, blended into the threads of the basic material for their fabrics. The minerals capture body heat and convert it into long-wave infrared energy, which is reflected back to your skin, joints and muscles.
Infrared energy is known for its ability to increase blood circulation, which can help during recovery from injuries or tense muscles.
How does Welltex work?
The fibers in Welltex® are durable and strong, which makes them perfect in the products for preparation and recovery. People and animals emit body heat during both rest and activity, so the products can be used when it suits you best.
You get the greatest effect from Welltex® technology during activity when the body temperature rises and the reflection becomes stronger. All Back on Track products have optimal breathability, which makes them comfortable to use as the heat is not trapped or insulated. What is Iontex?
By absorbing body heat and recreating it as energy, Iontex® can stimulate blood circulation and give you longer endurance. The light and flexible material is optimal for an active lifestyle.
Iontex® technology has the same basic concept as Welltex®. It contains natural minerals that can reflect body heat as infrared energy. The difference between the technologies is mainly that Iontex® has finer ground minerals in its thread. It results in a light and flexible material that allows more stretch and other properties (antibacterial, quick drying, breathable for cooling effects, moisture wicking) that are well suited in clothing for an active lifestyle.
How does Iontex work?
The fibers in the fabric are designed to help maintain an optimal body temperature in all situations. The products with Iontex® are therefore quick-drying and abstract the moisture from the skin. In this way, the material can adapt in both cold and warm conditions, which makes them just as good to use in the summer as in the winter.
